How Laochra Thrifts Started
The name Laochra comes from the roots of my own family. My name, Owen, means a “noble youth” — and like a steady beacon in a shifting tide, it carries that enduring legacy alongside the fierce, protective spirit of a “young warrior.” In the Irish language, the word for a warrior is laochra — and that’s the history behind the name.
